About: Akahashi (Story)

Now about the Protagonist and in the Story:

Akiko Akahashi at first went to School with her best friend, Jinko Hirata, at their senior class years,

enjoying their time together while they're at it.

There came the Day when Akiko was forced to take on the mantle too early for her year and little knowledge of combating against these “things”, making her work while she almost took every situation the hard ways. Taking the duties and responsibilities of an exorcist, she had to drop out from School to make to take her job in full-time way and barely gets to see anyone or talk to her best friend even for few minutes.

It filled her many emotions she couldn't comprehend and time has not given her the luxury of processing them as she has to get ready whenever they'll come and terrorize the lives of the innocents. 

A bit of Trivia:

Akahashi is a story that has faced many changes in concept on story arcs for characters, and few of those had to kick the bucket.

It started as a story about “a young girl coming in contact with demons and has a demon nurse she weirdly befriended with” to “a young girl that is a part of the legacy of exorcists of Kyoto, having to bear the responsibilities too early on by unfortunate circumstances“, and so on!

Earlier on, when I was thinking about making these Demons or Supernatural monsters in the stories some “monster of the week“ type of characterization, and only leave the important coming ones for the arc to the main ones and baddies.

That of course is now scrapped. They’ll become essential for the Story as an Impact of the outcome for the Main Character, effecting the main character's views that would possibly change post-battle.

The Monsters and Demons concept in the Story will be described as pure manifestation based on the Humanity’s worst action, fears, guilt and speaking in general, the worst they’re at from their souls.
